About the Founder
Cliff Oxford started his career at U.P.S., where he developed a technologically advanced help-desk system that was recognized for saving the company more than $250 million in its first year. In 1995, he left U.P.S. to start STI Knowledge, an information technology company with offices in the United States, Britain, South Africa, India, Hong Kong and the Philippines that made the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America three years in a row. After selling the company, Mr. Oxford endowed Emory University’s executive M.B.A. program. As the founder of The Oxford Center for Entrepreneurs, Cliff has spent years encouraging economic development by helping business owners survive the pitfalls of fast growth. Additionally, he is an active business blogger for NYTimes.com, a columnist for Forbes.com entrepreneurial section about “exiting” and education in business, the host of DoctorPreneur television series and the founder of The Oxford Entrepreneur MBA program at Brenau University.
