Oxford Center MBA with Business Consulting
The Oxford Center MBA with Business Consulting program is a fully-accredited MBA. This revolutionary program is designed to give entrepreneurs the skills and resources that they need to build and grow a successful enterprise. In addition to the online curriculum delivered by Brenau University, the Oxford Center MBA with Business Consulting program provides entrepreneurs with the resources needed to develop a fast-growth company. To be admitted into this program, prospective students must establish a business during the term of the program.
This program provides graduates with critical thinking and decision-making skills, as well as comprehensive knowledge of key leadership and management principles. The program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to progress to a higher level in their organization or take the next step in their career. The Oxford at Brenau MBA is a 13 course, 39 credit hour degree program, which leads to a Masters of Business Administration.
To enhance their success in the program, students are required to take BA500 MBA Foundations (6 hours) unless they have an undergraduate business degree from a regionally accredited institution within the last 7 years. In addition, BA507 Introduction to Business Communications (3 hours) is required for all MBA applicants that enter the program. The course may be waived if the applicant has a prior masters degree.

Entrepreneur Concentration Courses
Students take five courses to complete the concentration (15 hours):
BA 751 Entrepreneurship
This course is designed for students interested in developing their own business. From the development of a business idea to writing an effective business plan to communicating in a compelling manor the students will learn the process of moving their ideas forward to the point of execution. In addition to the processes involved students will also learn about the psyche of an entrepreneur – the type of personal characteristics that are necessary to be successful.
BA 752 Entrepreneurial Finance
This course focuses on the natural cycle of fundraising for a new business. The course covers internal financial management including risk management, bootstrapping, angel and venture capital as well as the final exit strategy for the entrepreneur which includes the IPO process.
MK XXX Channel Development and Key Account Management
A study of the core business processes involved in management of a sales force in a business-to-business environment. Emphasis is placed on the process of buying and selling, the links between sales and customer relationship management (CRM), developing and maintaining long-term relationships with profitable customers, forecasting and setting quotas, and the implementation and control of sales programs. Leadership, innovation, and technology are important overarching topics in this course.
MK XXX Product Development and innovation
A study of changing market demands, innovation, and new product development from the perspective of marketing management in a business organization. Emphasis is placed on innovation, opportunity identification and selection, new product ideation and concept evaluation, management of the new product process, new product design and development, and strategic launch planning.
BA 75X Entrepreneurship 2.0
This course focuses on second stage ventures. The course will provide material and education that provides a foundation for entrepreneurial success. Once the first stage of business development is taught, an introduction to the challenges Entrepreneurs face when taking their business from viability to sustained market success is added. In addition to the development of critical success factors for high growth enterprises, special emphasis is given to the world of entrepreneurial leadership on the development and management of human capital, the intersection of work and lifestyle, and the dominant forces that uniquely come to bear on second-stage entrepreneurial enterprises.
